Mine Spec – Packaged units
Our on-going in-house project of modifying 34kW Actron Air packaged air-conditioning units to mine specifications is an innovative project that was designed to cater for our rapidly developing industry. Our Actron Air Package Units still conform to manufacturer warranty standards but also meet current mine site fire and electrical safety requirements. The system is controlled and managed by Allen Bradley or Innotech PLC controlled systems.
Working in conjunction with our sister-company Bear Instrumentation we recently supplied 10 Actron Air packaged air-conditioning units to one of our mining clients. Modified in-house to mine specification the units meet the current mining fire and electrical safety standards, whilst still conforming to the manufacturer’s warranty.
Electrical – B Block
Working in conjunction with our sister-company Bear Instrumentation we successfully completed the upgrade of the main incoming switchboard and power to our clients B Block (Boiler Making workshop). This project was designed, manufactured and installed by A.R.T and met Australian AS3000 Standards and current electrical requirements for Queensland Government sites.
The project also included the upgrade of ceiling fans, smoke alarms and store isolators; meeting Australian and Q-Build standards and specifications.
Evaporative Air-Conditioning – Senior Campus
This recent project involved the new installation of commercial sized evaporative air-conditioners and included the design and manufacture of ducting work and a fume extraction network.

Fabrication – Isa Hotel
This recent project involved the design, fabrication and installation of stainless steel kitchen facilities including benches, sinks, cupboards and a hotel bar service area including accessories (wine racks etc).

Refrigeration – BCF
This recent project involved the supply and installation of split ducted air-conditioning package units. Our sister-company Bear Instrumentation also completed the electrical switchboard upgrade and installation including power supply and connection.
